Trevor Lyon is a genre bending bassist, producer, and recording artist known for his signature blend of groove-driven basslines, soulful vocals, and genre-defying production. With roots in Rock, Reggae, Hip-Hop, and Jazz, his sound is both eclectic and unmistakably his own.
Raised on music and inspired early by his father, Trevor began on guitar before falling in love with the bass in high school—self-taught, self-driven, and immersed in developing his own sound. Over time, he evolved into a dynamic force: bassist, vocalist, songwriter, producer, arranger, and musical director.
Lyon launched his solo career in 2011 with the debut LP First Degree, which opened the door to national touring and numerous collaborations. He has since shared the stage with a wide range of artists and performed at major festivals and venues across the U.S., including BottleRock Napa Valley, Mandalay Bay Las Vegas, Reggae on the River, The Shrine NYC, Earth Day San Francisco, Seattle Hempfest, Blue Note Napa, The Emerald Cup, Boston Freedom Rally, Florida Cannabis Fest, Kushstock, High Times, Sierra Nevada fest and more.
In addition to his solo work, Trevor is the longtime bassist and musical director for the Mendo Dope Band, continuing to push creative boundaries and deliver unforgettable live performances.
